Hotel Directions

The Motel Canadien is just the type of place motorists look for; accessible. Located barely a block off the main expressway between Montreal and Quebec City (Autoroute 40 or Felix-Leclerc Highway), most motorists use Exit 203 or 205 for Boulevard Thibeau to reach it. It's right on the boulevard, easy to spot with its classic signage out front. There's none of that hassle getting caught up in one-way streets searching painfully long hours for some elusive parking garage as so often happens with downtown hotels. Here at Motel Canadien, arrival is direct and straight forward.

The motel is centrally located between the two major airports for those flying in. About a 90-minute drive west from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL). And approximately 60 to 75 minutes east from Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB). Renting a car is the standard way to reach the region.

If you are arriving by bus, the Orléans Express station in downtown Trois-Rivières is about a 10-15 minute taxi or Uber ride away from the motel. Once at the motel, having a car is recommended for sightseeing, but the local bus system (STTR) does have stops along Boulevard Thibeau that can connect you to the city center if you prefer not to drive.
